Purchase Order PrePayment is not support for the modules (Project Accounting, Analytical Accounting, and Multi-Dimensional Analysis). If we are not using those modules, and we will be able to use the Purchase Order Prepayment feature. I hope may be the release GP2013 R2 has this feature for those modules. Download and test the same on GP 2013 R2 version.

In Fabrikam you can have Prepayments and Project. Also you can have Multidimensional Analysis and Analytical Accounting registered and all will work.
We were sold this feature by our consultants, we have been waiting for it and today I find out it is not supported for Project Accounting. Nice!
Interesting. Mark Polino, are you testing this in your test system and are their any registration records present? There are none in mine. I have only Fabrikam installed and I didn't do the install myself but I have both PA and Prepayments enabled, as it sounds you do also.

comes up with you cannot register project accounting when purchase order prepayments are allowed when trying to turn project back on
Go to Administration>>Setup>>System>>Registration and uncheck the PA checkbox in the registration window. Then go in and activate Prepayments. Go back to Registration and re-register PA. See if that works for you.

It is greyed out and when I read the help file it says because I have PA registered I cannot check this box.
It should be present once you activate Prepayments in POP Setup, Rick.
