Apparently Microsoft has mailed out postcards warning everyone of a price increase coming July, 2014. Does anyone have any details on the changes? My inbox is full of requests wanting to know and I have nothing to tell them.

Have you reached out to someone in Sales operations? I checked with a few people and they are not aware of this.

The postcards starting hitting today. I had one of my clients send me an example. I will check with sales ops.

Yes, Susan this is the exact wording of the postcard. So all clients know is that there is going to be a price increase without any details. I can't wait to hear what Sales ops has to say.

Richard I may be wrong but I think you are reading this wrong. I believe it is just stating that if you purchase something after that date the price will be higher then if you previously purchased. I don't believe we would be making existing customers pay extra for what they have already purchased.

Jonathan, the sales pitch is that if a client is thinking about adding users, the time to do it it now to beat the price increase. With client's protected list price Microsoft better not try to charge them extra.

Again Richard I do not think the intent is to charge customers more for what they have bought. Before we assume the worst I would get all the facts.

Could that be right by any chance? I mean aren't we selling our customers "Protected List Price" as a part of the enhancement plan which should mean the customer can use same purchase price across the years?
