Deploying Dynamics GP 2010 R2 SSRS Reports to a SharePoint 2010 Foundation Document Library

Posted on by 380

I installed GP 2010 R2 in a test environment with SharePoint Foundation 2010.

I deployed the Excel-Based Reports and SSRS reports to two separate SharePoint Document Libraries (GPReports and SSRS Reports).

I used the new Reporting Tools Setup window to deploy both types of reports. The Excel reports with no issue. I had to resolve the MaxRequestLength setting to get around the error message was able to deploy the SSRS reports successfully as well.

Both reporting tools show successfully deployed.

In Dynamics GP 2010 R2, I can see the Excel Reports in the separate module when I select the Navigation List, as well as in the SharePoint Document Library, but I cannot see the SSRS Reports in the Reporting Services Reports Navigation List.

I can see and run any of the SSRS reports successfully directly from the SharePoint Document Library with no issues, but they do not appear in the GP Navigation List.

In GP, I am able to click the SQL Report Manager and it goes to the correct Document Library in SharePoint as well.  The problem is the reports just don't appear in the Report List as integrated reports.

I closed GP and relaunched it, as I have seen this resolve the issue with the Excel Reports, but it didn't work for the SSRS reports.

Anyone have any suggestions to troubleshoot this?

I had this issue, and this was the fix (company field missing in the reports):

    Lisa,

Thanks for using the newsgroups.  What version of SQL reporting services are you using?  Is there anything unique to mention about the SharePoint site that you deployed to?  SSL, host headers, different port, etc.?  If you navigate to an srs report in SharePoint, right-click, and view properties, do you see a Company property?  It should be there with the INTERID set from DYNAMICS..SY01500.

    Thanks

    Rob
