We are currently testing the upgrade from GP 10.0 to GP 2013. The majority of users at our company are still on Office 2007. I was curious if Office 2007 still worked with GP 2013 for features like exporting Smartlists to Excel or if Office 2010 or greater was required.
I understand that some features, like replacing report writer with Word, will require a newer version of Office, but I was hoping simple features like exporting data would work.
I have read in the install documentation that Office 2007 is no longer supported for GP 2013, but I was hoping that meant it could still be used but that Microsoft would not support any issues related to that application.

Often the "not supported" versions work just fine. Suggest you test as part of the process. What it does mean is that if you get any error messages, you may not be able to get help with them.
I would however encourage you to move the users - especially the key financial users to Office 2013 as well if you can. The functionality around creating great dashboards etc is so much more enhanced. (see Mark Polino's blog for details: msdynamicsgp.blogspot.co.nz)
