I have a client that is in the first year of GP. They have five companies and use 13 periods with an "eliminations" company. They are trying to close 2011, posted elimination entries for consolidation reporting. When they run consolidated reports, MR will produce w/error saying: "Period 13 for fiscal year 2011 is not valid for company Elimations Company. No data will be returned for this company." I created a new report that just has the Elim co. and it works. Any help would be great.

Microsoft gave me a workaround of changing the company that the report was being generated for to be one of the other companies. I no longer received the error message. Not really a solution, but it worked to get rid of the error.
Hey Amanda and James, Did you ever get this resolved? We are seeing the same error.
I had this same issue with a client with 13 periods. They have 10 companies all set up the same way in the Fiscal Periods window but this one company has that error message when the consolidation report is generated. I had opened a case with Microsoft regarding one of the companies not showing 13 periods in the dropdown to select for the Base Period and brought up the error but was told that I need to open ANOTHER SEPARATE case to address yet another issue with Management Reporter and Period 13.
Please let me know if anyone has found a fix for this.
