How to Post Multi Journal for Project Journal Type (Hour, Fee and Beginning Balances) in AX 2012?

Hi all,

In standard AX 2012 having multi journal post for all LedgerJournalType (like Daily, Vendor invoice etc...) in General Ledger Module below navigation:

General ledger --> Periodic --> Journal --> Post Journals

But, I need the same process in Project accounting module also, have you any one tried this process let me know which in is best way, whether customization do in same or duplicate the concept from ledger journal type to project journal type.

Requirement:

I need to post multi project journal as like ledger journal multi post functionality.

    Hi,

    You can use the GL periodic option to post expense journals. For other project journals like hours, you will need to create a customization to achieve this requirement.

    I tried doing this today for a client.  In the GL periodic journal when I select project as an account type I am only able to select expense as a project category.  I can't select fee (or hour or item like in the project accounting journals) even though I have fee as a project category.  My client has engagements (projects) that have recurring fees that have to be billed to their customer.  I looked through the configuration and could find no place where this was configurable.  Andre, you are saying this would have to be a customization?
