    Hi Nilesh,

Are you using CRM Online or On Premise.

If Online then follow this method

If On Premise then follow this method, you can use w3wp process. You can also use Tracing Service to check your plugin.

One of the videos available in You Tube by Steve Green which describes all the methods of plugin debugging

    Hope that helps

    Thanks

    Hi Nilesh,

Yes, it does happen for retrieve Message you cannot debug using plugin reg tool, I did try that before. You need to find alternative way that is to debug the server code using VS only not plus Plugin Reg Tool.

So, since that time I was using onPremise so I debug using the Visual Studio in the server itself and attach the w3wp.exe.

Are you using CRM Online or OnPremise?

I think the link provided by Mithilesh you can refer to do alternative debugging.

    Just another reference here:

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

Thanks for your reply Mithilesh, It was helpful. As I said it is a retrieve plugin, I am trying to debug it remotely, my plugin is running in "None" isolation mode. So, I think will need to attach it to w3wp.exe. On my server there are such 4 services running with same name, I attached the debugger with all 4 processes but still not able to hit the break point. Any idea on why it is not working?
