Fixed Asset Acquisition in GP 9.0

Posted on by 110

Can someone point me in the direction of where to find step-by-step instructions for acquiring a Fixed Asset in GP 9.0?  I have searched the Internet until I'm blue in the face with no luck.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

James

    Hi James,

There are two excellent references available. If you launch GP and then go to the help window, you will find an option for 'printable manuals'. There is a separate manual for Fixed Assets that will walk you through the process.

The second reference is the training manual. Depending on the level of support you have purchased with GP, you may be able to download this manual from Customer or PartnerSource. You can also purchase the manual; http://www.ibgnet.com/ can sell you a copy.

If you can get the training manual, that would be my first choice. It contains labs that will walk you through all of the steps with sample data.

Fixed Assets is a very nice module, I think you will enjoy using it.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
