Too many Journals batch "In Used"

Hi all.

In recent times, my AXIS system usually has the following problem:

There are too many Journals which are Locked by system. We always have to manually unlock a huge amount of records.

Someone please show us the causes that can lead to this phenomenon & are there another ways to unlock multiple records quickly instead of unlocking each record?

    Hi Vu,

    Locked by system is set when you want to post a journal. If the posting fails due to a coding error or the connection was suddenly interrupted, it cannot reverse this setting by itself. Then, indeed you have to unlock it yourself.

    Try to find the cause as it should not happen that much. I have it seen only a few times per implementation. it should be more en exemption instead of this number of errors. Do you have some customizations on the journals and posting logic?

    Yes, we do some customizations on the journals and posting logic. In this case, where should we start checking regarding this issue? I think I will try to check our daily auto post journal batch job first.
