Hello,

I am using Microsoft RMS Dynamics. We open a seasonal store in a neighboring county. Anything we sell over or ship there now has to have that county and city tax.

I had the tax entered in from the previous year, however there was a tax increase. I went into the Manager - Database - Sales Tax and increased the sales tax from 2.5% to 3%.

Now, that sales tax will not show up when ringing up a sale.

Any ideas?

Did you restart the POS program.

Also do you run a Z-Report.

You have to do both of these or the changes will cause problems.

However, the register had been Z'ed already and it still does not apply tax.

Any time you change rates, add or remove taxes, you will need to Z out the registers for the change to take affect.
