msdyn365 clone does not rename module

Posted on by 23
Hi all.
I am experiencing an issue with the command "yarn msdyn365 clone header super-header".

I'm using
windows 10 x64
node v16.20.2
yarn v 1.22.22

and this is the error

I tried searching but couldn't find anything particularly useful.
I tried also with --verbose option but the log is the same.

From the error, i can suppose that maybe there are permission problem but I have no evidence to confirm this

Has anyone experienced the same problem and if so, how did they solve it?

Thank you in advance

msdyn365 clone does not rename module
Hi all again. I found the cause of my issue.

It was related to the VSCode extension "Angular Language Service". I stopped the execution, restarted the editor and the clone cmd works fine.

To find the problem, I had to debug the cli js files, specifically the *\Msdyn365.Commerce.Online\node_modules\@msdyn365-commerce\cli-internal\distant\scripts\copy-module.js file and the renameCopiedModuleDirectories function.

In the catch is the instruction utilities_internal_1.trace.error(`Error while renaming directory ${oldName}`, error); which does NOT correctly log the variable error.

How can I report this bug (assuming it is one) to support (if it can be reported)?
