Repeating report

ReportReport
Posted on by 7

Hi

I hope one of you can help me. Each month I am doing the same report, the only thing that changes is the end date. I have to make Report number 1316 Customer Statement to one of our customers every month but up until now I have made 12 reports, because I am not sure how to make et repeatetly. Every report has to start at January 1st, and end of the last day of a current month.

I can see, that I might have to use unitcode, but then I can not find 712 Inventory Sales Statistics and nighter 1316 customer Statement

I have severel of these reports, so I really hope one of you could help me make it easier.

Thanks a lot in advance for your time

Karin

    RE: Repeating report

    Hi Zhu

This is not quet what I need, as the start and end date need to be dynamic, so on a statement it will only be may if I make the report now, and in July, when I make the report, it will only be June.

The reson I need these reports is because I have a lot. And as it is right now, I have 12 ongoing statements to one customer, so I have a lot of reports to keep an eye on.

But mayby there is no other way than doing all of these reports one by one.

    Thanks for your reply.

    Best regards

    Karin

Hi, have you tried the Report Scheduler feature?

    More details:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav-app/ui-schedule-report

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-9dSv0qbx8

You can also consider customizing, for example, customize a program that automatically sends emails.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

    RE: Repeating report

    Hi,

Yes the statement is send to the customer. But the Inventory Sales Statistic I export to an Excel file, to compaire fx with the same periode last year.

If you could help me with this so the new report will show the posts from last time the report was run and up until a certan date. So the first run of the report will show from fx April 1st until April 15th, and the next time the report runs it will show from April 16th up until April 30th.

    Is this enough extra info?

    Hi,

Can you brief it more? What you do with this report, this is a customer statement report which act as a Reminder to customer.
