WIP Aging Report (Project all in one)

Hi there,

Is there a way of offsetting costs items with billing on the aged WIP? For example, I incur costs on the WIP that sit in the 160+ aging bucket. I then bill the job which hits the 0-30 aging bucket. When I run the WIP, the debit balance still sits in the 160+ aging bucket despite there now being billing . What I would like is the aging to now show the 0-30 day bucket only. 

In prior accounting systems I have been able to match off costs against invoices raised but it doesn't seem like AX has this functionality?

    Hi Hannah,

    It would be great if you could provide a lot more details here, such as

    - what is aged WIP? Is this a report that you created or an account that you setup?

    - what do you mean by saying that you incur costs on the WIP? Are your transactions expensed on P&L accounts are put on a WIP account in the BS?

    - What do you mean by saying 'when I run the WIP'?

    - Where do you see the aging buckets for your WIP? Do you run a Report for that?

    Would be great if you could clarify.
