Hi Friends,

I have been working as a Finance Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. Previously worked in AX 2009, AX 4.O Versions as well.

I would like to learn Navision Financials as per the company's requirements. Can any one please share me the White paprers/Soft copy manuals of Navision Financials.

Thanks,

Sai Nag

    Hi Ferrandez,

You can download the latest version of NAV at this link:

    https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/Global/NAV/downloads/product-releases/msdnav2017download#2

Please keep in mind that only the clients (i.e. Windows client and development environment) can be installed on 32 bit Windows OS. The server components (i.e. NAV Server and SQL database) must be installed on a 64 bit environment.

As stated above by Jonathan Archer, Microsoft's documentation is found here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh173988(v=nav.90).aspx

    Regards,

    Ted

Also, if you have access to eLearning in PartnerSource (https://mbs.microsoft.com/partnersource/northamerica) then you can find courses on Microsoft Dynamics NAV (including Basic and Advanced Financial Management).

The white papers for Dynamics NAV are also available for download in PartnerSource (possibly CustomerSource as well - I haven't checked), but they have not been updated since NAV 2013 as the online knowledge base MSDN appears to be used for documentation instead of printable white papers.

To access the Dynamics Learning Portal you need to either be a customer active on the Enhancement Plan or be a partner who has purchase the Training Pack from Microsoft (or possibly other support packages that give access to the DLP).

There may also be some videos on YouTube that explain financial management in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (although they are made by various Microsoft partners).

There are also some good blogs about using Dynamics NAV (here are just a few):
