Have started using Service Task --> Inspection Templates and it works pretty well. I just need help with permissions. I want "field service - resources" to be able to see the inspection template on the work order service task. This works perfectly fine if I assign System Administrator role to the resource but otherwise they just see the service task and can edit it but do not see the inspection template?Obviously not an app issue but a permissions issue. I have tried Google but can't find anywhere that tells me the specific permission needed for viewing/completing an inspection? Also should I updated the "Field Service - Resource" security role to achieve this or create a new role?
Thanks
Thank you
Hi,
It is not necessary to create a new role.
You just need to assign an existing security role to the user and grant the related privileges to the role.
Please navigate to Advanced Settings > Settings > System > Security > Security Role and click the role you’d like to assign to the user.
Then grant the privileges like Create, Read and so on according to your request.
After saving it and refreshing the page, the user can see the Inspection Template in the left navigation bar.
To know more about how to grant privileges to security role, please refer to:
