I have a requirement to push data from CRM instance to another dynamics CRM instance on click of a button. We need it real time so the end user knows data has been sent. We would like to do this via Plugin. Any reference or help on how to call CRUD requests to another CRM instance from plugin.

Here is an article that teaches you how to use Create, Retrieve, Update, and Delete operations for Plugins in the late bound style.
You can use Ribbon Workbench, Custom Actions, and JavaScript for creating the button to trigger the Plugin.
