Hello,
I am on the job form.
I want to test my code or create new code from scratch, to test against the fields in the form.
What is the easier way to go about doing it. Do I just test it on the production environment or do I use visual studio to do it, and if so visual studio doesn’t have forms, how can I test it as if I am testing on the job form ?
Hi,
Testing:
You can use EasyRepro for automated UI testing: "this library is to provide Dynamics customers the ability to facilitate automated UI testing for their projects. These API's provide an easy to use set of commands that make setting up UI testing quick and easy. The functionality provided covers the core CRM commands that end users would perform on a typical workday and working to extend that coverage to more functionality."
Development environment:
I use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer Toolkit:
The best way for you to test you custom code is by having a sandbox (test) organization. Then you might want to deploy your custom plug-ins/workflow assemblies to this sandbox organization and test them out. The same applies for custom JavaScript code or any custom components.
