Fixed Asset Disposal facing Issue

Hi Experts,

I'm trying to do the fixed assets disposal but facing the following issue while clicking the preview posting.

Please find the following error message. Kindly help on resolving the error. Thanks.

    Hi Saravanan,

    Navigate the page "Depreciation Books", and Edit the Depreciation Book named "COMPANY". Expand the Integration fast tab, and make sure the "G/L Integration - Disposal" option is enabled (checked).

    Given the error message you're seeing, it is highly likely that it is disabled/unchecked at the moment. Once you have enabled it, go back to the Fixed Asset G/L Journal and try again.

    Also, if the Disposal type wasn't integrated to the G/L, it's possible you haven't set up the FA Posting Groups for disposal either. You can verify by navigating to the "FA Posting Groups" page, and ensuring that for the desired Code(s), you have G/L Accounts identified for "Gains Acc. on Disposal" and "Losses Acc. on Disposal". If you don't, expect to see another error message when you try to post your disposal from the FA G/L Journal.

    Hi Ansari,

    Thanks much. I was missing the GL Integration check in the Depreciation book though the Disposal GLs are assigned in the FA Posting Group. Thanks a lot.
