Sales Tax for a state

I'm trying to pull a report that lists the sales tax for Utah by Vendor.  I thought it would be forthcoming by just choosing vendors paid in Utah but there are others paid outside of utah.  I'm trying to find the table that lists where payable tax = UT for payable transactions.  Maybe from there I can derive the report.  Thanks

    Hi Richard,

    Say what?

While your results are correct, your location, I am sad to say, is not. As far as I know, there is no cap on how much sales tax the great state of Texas will charge you.  Or at least what they charge me.

Looking forward to seeing you at Convergence. Gosh, that is just a week away.

Sales tax by vendor?  I think you are trying to take the sales, go through the items sold, then to the vendors, and then calculate the sales tax paid for that item?  No, there is no standard report for this.  GP assumes that you are buying items for resale tax free and thus simply need to accrue taxes to be paid on sales to the various state and local authorities.

Can you put together a report?  It depends on the tax calculations.  For example, in Texas, when the taxes reach a certain percentage, they are capped, which line item capped the taxes is up for grabs.
