Customer Merge - license does not grant permission

We are trying to merge 2 customers in Business Central and as soon as we choose a customer "Merge With", it comes up with an error that "

Validation Results

Your license does not grant you the following permissions on TableData Customer Template: Read. To view details about your permissions, see the Effective Permissions page. To report a problem, refer to the following server session ID: '81865'."

I am in as a super user, I have verified access, and have even tried it on a different instance as well. Has anyone seen this? I wondered if maybe it was an extension we had installed, but I removed that, as well as tried it in a different instance without an extension.

    Hi, I just tested it briefly and didn't encounter this problem.

    Are you using the On-Pre version or the SaaS version? If it is a trial environment of the SaaS version, please pay attention to whether the trial period has expired.

    Hello ,

    I have the same issue , our Production Tenant were recently upgraded to BC22.0.54157.54644.  User License Assigned is Premium with Super User role.

    We did the same thing as you are , we removed our PTE and try it again but no luck. Has anyone raise this to Microsoft Support?

    to be able to perform the task, Only users with the MERGE DUPLICATES permission set can use this functionality. Check your permission even you are a super.
