Issue when using Dynamics 365 JavaScript in Internet Explorer

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with a JS function that is triggered in OnLoad event of a form within CRM, so this JS is working fine in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge but not in Internet Explorer.

It looks like in IE the "Reference Path" to other JS library is not being loaded.

The Internet Explorer info is the following:

8206.ie.PNG

Do you have any idea about why it's happening?

Best regards and thanks in advanced!

    Hi,

you can try to upgrade the version, it seems you are not using the latest version of IE.

    Hi Alberto,

There could be chances that you js somewhare have some syntext error which IE could not able to resolve.

Do following steps to find syntext error if any.

    Open crm in IE

    hit F12

Open record for which onload is written

    Monitor console tab

It will definately give you some idea what's going on.

    Regards,

    Ketan

    Hi Alberto,

Some Javascript functions might not work in IE11.

You can try debugging in Developer Console to get the error.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot Ketan, it was an error with the syntaxis of the JS, it's missing a semicolon, so Chrome and Edge have the ability to run this type of syntaxis but IE not. The problem was solved by fixing the sintaxis in JS.
