Error configuration packages (sell to customer number)

Hi Folks,

I am able to import all the sales order number, in some instances there is this weird error which i cannot make sense which says you must specify sell to customer no. I can see that this number is already present in the list.

I tried to follow this article below and still by removing the sell to customer number couldn't get through.

Also, in terms of the errors, is there a way to export the errors and see them all at once rather then clicking on each invalid record to see what the error message is.

Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated :)

    Hello,

When you back from that conf. pack and again open that page then you will find below page through which you can see all the errors like in below image.

Also you can export these errors in excel.

You can click on Record ID and check that system is validating for which field, sometimes it is happening that the system may try to overwrite the first line repeatedly which may be leading to validation errors.

It appears you are trying to insert the Sell-To Customer on the Sales Line table.  The Sell-To Customer is defined on the Sales Header, same with Location and other fields.  Your Sales Line import should not have the Sell-To Customer as a visible field.  When importing Sales Lines you want to keep the information as basic as possible and allow the Validation of the fields fill in the remaining fields.

    Sales Line Fields:
    Doc. Type
    Doc. No.
    Type
    No.
    Quantity

    Optional:
Description (only if you have a custom description, instead of the default)
Unit Price (only if you have a custom price; in which case I would suggest importing a Sales Price list first)

Try reducing the number of fields included in your Sales Line package and see if it resolves your errors.
