Hi:

Fixed Assets have dimensions.

Let's say that you have a location dimension coded for each fixed asset.

Upon posting depreciation, would the deprecation post to the location dimension?

    Hi, Yes of course.
You can check dimensions in Fixed Asset G/L Journal after running Calculate Depreciation.

    For example,

    And G/L Account

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

I first read this as you were wanting to put a location on the fixed asset and have the dimension from the location card some to the asset's transactions. This will not work but putting dimensions on the assets will flow to transactions just like they do for customers, vendors and items.
