and thus wondering if there is already a migration guide available from Microsoft sources that can be

So, any help on this area would be appreciated if you have got similar experience that you could share mainly in line with upgrade vs re-implementation approach etc.?

Thanks.

  • RE: Upgrade of ADX 8.x to Power Apps Portal (Cloud)

Here is some information below.  There is no access to ASP.NET Code for customization though    ADXPortals has been out of support for a long time now so this is just some information

žAdxstudio Portals has a patch available that is compatible with Dynamics 365 v9.x platform, see Release Notes URL below.
If customer is on the earlier version of Portal than Supported it will not work with latest Dynamics 365 v9 “One Version” – this is due to changes in the Dynamics SDK which earlier versions of Adx Portal used, customer must patch their Adx Portals v7 to latest version

žCustomer must check if needed to perform a patch Upgrade to latest

žTo see exact Portal version go to “<PortalURL>/_services/about”

    ž

žPlease Review Adxstudio Portal Release Notes for latest patch info: https://community.adxstudio.com/products/adxstudio-portals/releases/adxstudio-portals-7/release-notes/

All Adxstudio Portals lose Microsoft Support on August 1st 2018

    ž

žThere are no exceptions to enable or extend Microsoft Support
