Committed date in Project accounting

Posted on by 520

Hi,

I created a PO under Project management and accounting>>Common>>Project>>All projects then click manage tab in the action pane>>Item task>>Purchase order.

The PO creation date is July 22 as well as the accounting date and delivery date but when I check the date in Committed cost, the date is July 23.

Why is it that the committed date is July 23 and where that date came from?

Pls enlighten me.

Thanks.

    I see.

In this case, I would suggest that you keep an eye on that and if it happens again then probably open a support request with MS.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

I created another PO in demo environment and It did not happen again.

The creation date, accounting date and delivery date are all the same and the committed cost also get the correct date which is the accounting date.

    Thanks.

    Good morning marypeace,

Have you done some additional testing?

Did you get the same result in the committed cost form or something different?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

Can you possibly double/triple check your first example.

I really wonder why a different date was taken.

Just to be absolutely sure that things work as you expect ...

And as usual, if there is nothing else left open / unanswered, please verify the answers.

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

I replicate it in demo environment but when I replicate it in client's dev environment, you're right it is the accounting date.

    Thanks a lot.

    Hello marypeace,

In my case its the accounting date in the PO that drives this.

Do you see the same issue in a different demo/test environment? In other words, can you replicate it?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
