Tracking transactional mails / Button color on form

Hi there,

Q1: Does anyone know if tracking is possible when sending transactional mails?

Q2: I am designing a subscription center form and want to change the color of the submit button. The only solution I've come across so far is to change the CSS or add inline style.

Can anyone confirm if this is the only way?

    Hi,

Yes, them can be tracked in following ways.

Track Outlook email by moving it to a tracked Exchange folder | Microsoft Docs

Track Outlook email by choosing a button in Dynamics 365 for Outlook | Microsoft Docs

Set an option to automatically track incoming Outlook email in Dynamics 365 for Outlook | Microsoft Docs

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Nya,

    Thanks for the answer.

Regarding Q1: No, it doesn't mean all Marketing Emails per say. When you create a Marketing Email however, you can choose if the e-mail should be a Commercial e-mail or Transactional. Transactional being operations information etc. These types of e-mails does not look at "donotbulkemail" field and can be sent to any contact with no regarding to consent.

But can we still track these e-mails?

    Hi,

Does the “transactional mails” in Q1 mean “Marketing Emails”? If yes, they can be tracked normally.

Here are the screenshots showing the mail tracked by Dynamics 365 App for Outlook.

For more details about tracking emails, please refer to the following documentation:

About Q2, yes, the color of the button can only be changed in the HTML designer.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.
