Different Ways to import third party csv files data to Crm Accounts

Hi Folks,

We have csv files stored on a server which are updated daily by third party subject to accounts data from that system.

Earlier we had a connector which used to scan these csv files and push data from it to crm by either creating or updating accounts. Now , the connector has been deprecated or not in use.

So we want to find some other approaches to replicate the process above.

Let me know different approaches . Considering integration apps we want to avoid paid apps.

So other approaches would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Pranesh Juwale.

    Hi Pranesh,

You need to write your own conmsole app which will read that csv file and then perform create/ update on your crm online. Basically, you need to replicate what your connector used to do.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Ravi,

    Thanks for the reply.

Console app is the last and the foremost way to go with.

I just want to find are there other ways OOB or any free utilities which will help to get it done.

    Regards,

    Pranesh

    Hi Pranesh,

There ain't any OOB ways to achieve this and I also don't think there would be any thirsd party free utilities. The reason being it is hard to develop something generic when it comes to file reading due to the various/ different format file can contain.

I would suggest to go for your own application as it will give your more control over the implementation and thus you can change it later as well if required. If you use any thirst party stuff then you may again get stuck if there is no supported version available etc.

    Hope this help.

If your amount of data is not more than +100k CSV import/export records per month, take a look at Skyvia. It`s a cloud-based solution with broad mapping and flexible scheduling features. Moreover, if you will exceed your limit, a price for Skyvia is really democratic.

Here you can find more info about it: https://skyvia.com/pricing
