Use telephone2 from contact in Phone Call

When we create a Phone Call activity for an existing contact, on the Phone Call form the field "phonenumber" is filled in automaticaly with the field "telephone1" from the contact entity.

 

Is there a possibility to fill in this field with "telephone2" instead of "telephone1" in an easy way?

The reason why is because telephone1 is the business phone, while we need the home phone.

 

We use CRM 2016 on premise.

    So it's not possible by configuration, we will try the javascript solution.

    I don't think there is configuration for this. Your option is JavaScript only. Please try it once and let me know if you face any issues.

    I have searched for this topic a lot, and find out that - with a business rule - you have to refresh your form also to see the changes?

    Using javascript is an option if their's no easy way to change the autofill from telephone1 to telephone2.

    It's not possible by configuration or changing an existing field mapping?

    Create a business rule or javascript to to set the phonenumber field with telephone2
