Global search for External Document No. for Sales Order, Posted Sales Invoice

We have been using Netsuite, one of the feature was very good- Global Searches, can search transection by any keywords

In BC, Find Entries, is there any way search by External Document No.?  This way we don't have to go to Sales Order, Posted Sales Invoice and Sales Order Archive to find the customer PO details

    Hi

    I also moved from Netsuite to BC. I missed that function too. The only solution I found close to Netsuite function is Clever Global Search (below link). But it is a paid app. After setup will work similar to NetSuite function. 

    For Find Entries I do not think you can search by external document No. Either you can go to Posted Sales Invoice then search for External Document No or in SO as you mentioned. I assume you can do customization to add that function to Find Entries page.
