I have a problem that widely discussed in forums and has very nice KB article but unfortunately looks like the troubleshooting of this issue is not taking in consideration my configuration.
I have a Gmail account that synchronized to Outlook 2010 by Google Apps Sync. I am using the CRM for Outlook Add-In as the Email router can't be configured to use the Gmail account (maybe i wrong here , but i didn't found good instructions to set it). I am using CRM 2011 online. that means that all servers are Cloud based.
Unfortunately all Articles i found are referring to SMTP configuration in the Exchange server or on CRM server. while i am using fully cloud solution!
Working with Marketing>Leads> When sending a template via ‘Send Direct email’, CRM attempts delivery about 6 times
Then posts a message: ‘The message delivery failed. It must be resubmitted for further processing’

Nothing goes through the ‘Outbox’ and nothing goes into the ‘Sent’ box but on the Lead record, it shows a copy of the template – none of these emails reached their destination.
Please Note that till last week everything worked fine, and rest of people in my organization can send templates through direct e-mail feature.
