As all Production Orders have locations code set on them and all the routing operations will take on the location code of that Production order, can you change a single routing operation to have a different location code (different work centre because it is physically in a different location). Is there any problem posting on such an operation?
For example, say I have a paint operation that is performed in a different location to all the other operations. Can the operation location be modified by manually changing to the work centre that has the different location code.
(It is understood that any components required for that operation are available at the different (paint) location).
