AX 2010 and SQL Server v11 "Denali"

Has anyone tried out using Dynamics AX 2011 and the next version of SQL Server?

I am interested in two things really:

1. That AX 2010 can run on SQL Server "Denali"

2. The BI components of AX 2010 can run on SQL Server "Denali"

 

Does anyone have information on what to expect from AX in terms of SQL Server integration? I am thinking about the powerful BI components that are part of the SQL Server "Denali" release. Maybe AX 2010 should begin to use these instead of old components build for SQL 2008 (R2).

 

Any Roadmaps for AX available anywhere?

    I installed the pre-release of AX 2012 on SQL Server "Denali" CTP 1. This all seemed to work, but I didn't do any real tests (just normal preview usage).

    And just a minor remark: AX 2010 doesn't exist....

    I've now tested and worked with ax2012 and Sql Server 2012. I cannot confirm that everything works. AX2012 uses quite a lot of views that use FASTFIRSTROW - table hint. This doesn't exist anymore in SQL Server 2012 so those views don't work.

    I'm using demodata database (sys database).
