Memory Leak in BC24.1

Posted on by 6
When two super users are trying to open business central the front page is opened fine but as soon as they click a page or try to do a search the process window (attached) opens and nothing happens.
This happened after the two users recieved a Permission Set from a third party provider and the import failed however we are unsure if this is related to this action but this is the only thing that the two users has done that sets them apart from the other users.
When the process wheel starts the nav server starts to use all memory and cpu on the server and will keep using this until the service is restarted.
All other users can login fine and use the system with good performance and no issued with memory and ram on the Nav Server.
As soon as one of the users login and click a page the memory leak begins.
Is there any table/setting in bc that we can manipulate to stop this from ocurring?

The issue was found and was caused by a 3rd party extension.

The reason it only influenced a few users was that the issue was related to the Role Center that was selected for the 2 users.

    Thx for the assistance

This seems to be a customization issue.
Please try uninstalling all third-party programs to see if this issue still exists.
You can also use the following tools to check, but this is only available after logging into the system normally.
Business Central 2022 wave 1 (BC20): In-client performance profiler (Performance Profiler page)

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
