Recreate UAT tier 2 environment

Hello,

I have a tier 2 UAT environment link with power platform environment.

I want to reset/recreate UAT environment but do not recreate the power platform environment. I will be linking existing power platform environment with the new UAT environment.

Please let me know if this is possible or not. If yes, how can I do this.

Thank you

Hi, We have recently done the same task of linking new D365 F&O Sandbox environment with existing Power Platform environment. You can do it within D365 F&O from Dual-Write setup in Data Management by linking Power Platform environment.

Note: If you try to enable Power Platform from LCS for your UAT2 environment, system will create new Power Platform environment.

    Thank you for the response.

I want to know how you created UAT2? did you deleted UAT1 and recreated it?

Please tell the steps in details.

I want to basically reset or somehow recreate UAT and dont want to create additional UAT2 kind environment.

    Thank you

I think you got confused by this 'If you try to enable Power Platform from LCS for your UAT2 environment'. My Bad, our UAT environment name is UAT2 and we didn't had any UAT1.

We had to link an existing Power Platform environment which was not linked to any D365FO environment. We created a new D365FO sandbox environment and linked that power platform environment.

The question here is that if you delete D365FO sandbox environment, will it delete Power platform environment as well. I'm not sure but I would suggest to unlink Power Platform environment from D365FO environment and it might not delete power platform on deletion of D365FO environment.
