Unable to Update/Insert Local Optionset Values. (CRM Online Instance)

Posted on by

In the Microsoft Document - InsertOptionValue Action (Microsoft.Dynamics.CRM) | Microsoft Docs
They have mentioned that we can use the InsertOptionValue action to insert new values to local and global optionsets.
I was able to do it with global optionsets, but when I try to use the action for local optionset it says unable to find the optionset with so and so name.

The action was called with the help of MS Flow - CDS Connector (Perform an unbound action).

Can anyone help out with this? And how can we insert/update/delete the local optionsets.

Hi Lu Hao, Thanks for replying . The solution you provided does work.

To update local optionset we need to specify just 3 attributes.

    Hi Pratiksha,

    Please refer to stackoverflow.com/.../insertoptionvalue-action-on-local-option-set

    stackoverflow.com/.../how-to-add-an-option-in-an-optionset-of-contact-form-dynamically

When you update a local option set only AttributeLogicalName, EntityLogicalName, and Label are required.
