Hello Experts,

my user facing this issue mentioned in the subject, when created the sales order and going to make payment journals and settling them...he face this issue "

this transaction has been marked for settlement by another user

i stuck in this error

any one who has face this issue and successfully resolved??

Hi Yasir,

Is it possible that you have another unposted payment journal where the sales order is marked for settlement?

Please check that because the error message that you shared usually points to such kind of issues.

thanks for your response... i have searched on it alot...but find nothing.... i have checked and no journal found..also in settled transactions...not found any special thing which can be a hint...still searching

Hi,

This is caused by another user having this record marked for settlement in for example another ledger journal.

please have a look at the following site which explains how this can be resolved.

Hello Yasir,

Have you tried recommended feature "Marked Transaction Detail form" ?

community.dynamics.com/.../marked-transaction-detail-form-new-feature-in-microsoft-dynamics-365-finance-and-operations

This will tell you more about the settlement and lock from other journal.

Hi Yasir

For the affected transaction, you can check where this transaction is marked. On customer/vendor translocation > Settlement >Settle transactions choose the transaction and then click on "Settlement Location"

On the next form "View marked transactions" you can find where the transaction is linked.

Nb. You can change view with the following alternatives:

If the journal og ordre is open still, you can remove this link/marking.
