I have a question about email. Is it possible to sent email from navision without outlook ?

yes, but you need to setup SMTP either using gmail etc.

1. Browse to SMTP Mail set up from search bar. click on Apply Office 365 Server settings
Enter your email id and password
Click on Test email. If set up is fine then you will receive an email on the specified email id

Microsoft Dynamics NAV enables you to send email without using outlook client through SMTP. To send emails through SMTP you need to configure it first. You can search SMTP settings from the search bar or by navigating to: Departments -> Administration -> IT Administration -> Services -> SMTP Mail Setup.

Sometime your smtp set is correct but still the emails are not sending, in this case you need to go to you email account and from security you need to allow unknow app to use your email for send emails.
