The UBS has recected our LSV file, claiming that it does not use ISO-8859 (Latin-1). Any idea where we can change the settings for the file to be saved in the required format?

    Not sure how do you generate the LSV file, but most probably you are using some kind of Electronic Reporting format for that purpose.
     
    The standard MS format used for LSV is as default created with Windows-1252 encoding. In order to change it - you will have to create derived format:
    for example
    & then change the encoding in designer here (do it from custom format created, you will not be able to do the change on Microsoft format directly):
     
    After finishing, save format & mark it as complete. Of course the ouptut format selected in configuration of Method of payment should be changed to your derived format - example location of field for setup:
