Disable Priority new control on home page grid for Work order

Hello,

We have a requirement to disable Priority field on Work order in all places. It is read-only on the form, but with the New work order experience, there is a new Priority control, that is editable as a dropdown.
We have Priority field on all the views, and it is being editable on the home grid. We added field security profile but is there any way to disable the Priority field on load of the view and refresh/change of the view?

Hi,

Unfortunately, I'm afraid that's not possible.

According to the official documentation, you can make inline edits to the Priority field when you switch to the Work Order List view.

When I try to remove the work order list control from the work order entity, I can still make edits to the priority field.

Therefore, you can only make the priority field read-only by switching to the read-only grid.
