Block changes to submitted sales orders

Hi All
What's the best way to block end user (non integration) changes to submitted sales orders/activated quotes. Some fields are editable and the grid below is editable

    You can create a JS which will run on form load. Check your necessary conditions and then lock them.
     
    For editable sub grid you can follow the same condition with below code mentioned in the article. Follow below article which will help you to implement your requirement.

    Thanks for the suggestion but I couldn't find the 'events" tab when I select the entity as below - perhaps this is not supported in modern UI
