Business Central Virtual Table: Can't create Table

Hello,

I'm trying to set up Business Central Virtual Table for Microsoft Dataverse. For this I used the setup wizard in Business Central. After setup, I also find the appropriate record in the msdyn_businesscentralvirtualentity dataverse table and can see all available tables/APIs in the mserp_businesscentralentity table. However, I cannot activate them.

When I check Visible on a record and try to save the record, I get this error: 0x80048d0b.

Can anyone tell me what this error means. Or even how to fix it.

Thank you and best regards
Nico

    Unfortunately that didn't help.

The error occurs even when trying to connect a clean new BC environment to a clean new PP environment.

I solved the problem. It was a language conflict.

The documentation says that you should activate the virtual tables directly in Dataverse. However, if you include the table in a model-driven app and try it there, you will get a more detailed error report. And it says "The language code 1033 is not a valid language for this organization". Language code 1033 is English, but my PP environment has German as the default language. In order to fix the problem, English must be activated as an additional language in the PP environment.

In a nutshell: In order to be able to use the D365 app "Business Central Virtual Table" the language English must be active in the PP environment. Whether as the primary or as an additional language.
