Which Dynamics Great Plains module do we need to use to have a location to store the UPC and UCC for a product? Preferably with the ability to have more than one UCC. Currently in GP 9 there does not seem to be a place to setup those common attributes for an item. We are in the process of planning our upgrade to Dynamics GP 2010 and need to know what our options are. Thank you.

There are no fields in any GP module specifically designated for these fields. Some Warehouse Management software products provide these fields (V-Ship is one). If you just need the fields and not a full WMS, use Extender to create a new window attached to the item master and put the fields there. You can create a UCC for the inner box, the outer pack, the shipping box, the shipping container, etc. Up to 16 fields are easily supported in one Extender window.
