traversedpath missing in PreEntityImage

I have a plugin that needs to get the value of traversed path from a custom entity. I have confirmed that there is a value held for traversedpath, however the PreEntityImage doesn't contain it (it does contain everything else I would expect)

Is there any reason the traversedpath details wouldn't be included in the image?

maybe the reason is:

"Manipulating these legacy process-related attributes for target entity records does not guarantee consistency of the business process flow state, and is not a supported scenario."
