Unable to see address of a customer in sales ledger

Hello,

I'm creating customers using Power Automate to populate the Customers V3 virtual entity.

When populating the first line of the address into mserp_fullprimaryaddress

It doesn't appear in the customer record in F&O

Should I be using another field for this?

If I do populate it manually in the front end

It does show in "Address" which is mserp_fullprimaryaddress

Thanks,
Michael

    Hi Michael,

As mentioned, the full pirmary address field will be formatted by X++ business logic. You need to fill other attributes like:
    • mserp_addresscountryregionid
    • mserp_addresscity
    • mserp_addresszipcode
    • mserp_addressstreet
There are also fields for a specific delivery or invoice address.

I think the in D365 FO, the 'mserp_fullprimaryaddress' field in the Customers V3 entity is read-only and derived from the primary postal address of the customer.
When you create or update a customer via Power Automate and populate only 'mserp_fullprimaryaddress', it will not reflect in the system, because this field is auto-generated based on the underlying address records (postal address and roles).

Instead, you must create the actual address through the some entity related to addresses. Ensure the address has the “IsPrimary” flag set to true and that it’s linked to the customer using the correct 'PartyNumber'.

    Thanks.
