Profiles (Roles) Not Listed in "Available Roles"

Hi:

I just went to the Profiles (Roles) page and noticed that not all Profile IDs are listed within the "Available Roles" list that appears upon clicking "My Settings".

One example is the "BOOKKEEPER" Profile ID.

Is a Profile ID meant to be the same thing as a role? 

If so, then why are some Profile IDs not appearing in "Available Roles"?

If not, then how do you create a custom Profile ID with customized pages and give that customized Profile ID to a user?

    You need to enable the roles you want to show up in my settings. Please see screenshot below. So mark all roles you want to use as enabled in the profiles list.

    You can also create new Roles, Go to the AL code and create Rolecenter types of page and enable them to use in BC front.

    Hi, The following two settings control whether users can see this role.

    Hi , Navigate to Profiles and select one which you want to enable. Check whether its description contains "navigation menu only", if yes it won't be available for selection even "Enabled" and "Show in Explorer" is turned on. You need to either make this description blank or change this. Then it would be available.

    Look up for Profiles Page and those profiles needs to be enabled for them to show for the user to select from the user settings.
