Tax on shipping?

Will there be an option to tax shipping, like assigning tax schedules on a per customer basis, in a future release or Service Pack? Not having this feature really has been disappointing.

I know there is a work around by assigning shipping as a taxable line item, but I am interested in using the built-in shipping fields only.

    A better option would be to look at an add-on from ShipRush for RMS. $0 to ~$300 first year, 50% off following years, depending on the Shipper.
