    Hi Mark,

do you have any context for this question? It might help us give you a relevant answer.

I would say there are two different things:

    - Transactions that are posted to the system (for example inventory transaction). Basically any record in a transactional table (table group "Transaction line" or in some scenarios also "Worksheet line") can be considered a transaction

    - Transaction scope in code (ttsbegin / ttscommit) is used to control what operations must succeed or fail together (docs.microsoft.com/.../xpp-transaction)

Ok, and do you have an answer now? If yes, please mark the helpful answer(s) as verified. Thanks!

I was just trying to ask how you ended up asking this question. Did you just happen to start wondering about it? Or are you trying to solve some problem? Such as coding, system sizing, etc? Sharing this info will usually help you get best possible help, saving valuable time for you and others.

    Hi Mark,

I do agree with Nikolaos. Your question can be interpreted in many different ways. So, some more background information would be helpful for the volunteers on this forum to know what type of information you are looking for. Then after a request for more information, you only reply with a repeat of the original question. In that case, we can only provide generic answers.

I suspect that question come from statement in the Licensing Guide that SCM has 200K transactions/tenant/month included. To evaluate how much customer needs one has to know how these transactions are counted.
