What can go wrong? Anything can go wrong. It can also go very well. It all depends on the preparation. Was everything tested and validated by the business? Do you have a lot of customizations? Are the users trained correctly?
Some quick thoughts (not a full list):
- Day 1. It is all going quite OK; except for some questions about access to the application and how things are working
- Week 1. Some master data or reference data is missing or incorrect. Maybe the first bugs are found.
- Month 1. Depending on customizations, there might be bugs due to testing only the happy flows or maybe some indexes are missing and performance issues can arise.
