Import Power Automate flow

I am exporting a solution with a flow built in Power Automate.  (Flows need to be in a solution).

The flow works great in the dev environment.  While trying to import the flow into the test environment, I get a warning message:  Type = Process Activation.   Message = "An error has occurred.  Try this action again.  If the problem continues, check the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Community for solutions or contact..."

The import does not bring the flow in.  I've tried both, managed and unmanaged solutions.  What is the problem here??

I have the same question (0)

    Hello Andy,

I am just curious to know if the issue only happens in the test environment or if you have the chance to import the solution flow in another environment and the problem is the same. Also before importing please confirm that the target environment "Admin mode" is disabled.

Since this issue is more related to a Flow within a solution I will also suggest asking the question in the Power Automate forum: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Report-Issues/ct-p/FL_Comm_Issues or either raise a ticket with MS support to analyze the solution or the telemetry shown in your target instance once the solution import starts.

    I hope it helps!

    Yader.

    Hello Yader,

Thank you for your response.  I have two sandbox environments.  I was moving the solution containing the flow from dev to test.

I have now found that if, after importing, I pull the flow out of the solution with a 'save as' and then publish it, that works.  Does it sound reasonable that I should have to take those steps?  I am pleased that I found something that works, but also want to follow best practice.

    Hello Andy,

    Thanks for your reply.

Maybe there is a missing component in the flow that gets created once you pull it out to your environment. Hence I would suggest here to open a service request with the Microsoft support team to review the behavior since it is not common. Also you can maybe try with another simple flow in another solution, just to understand if the problem is only with one solution or all solutions with flows for your test env.

    Thanks!

    Yader Morales.
