Resolved unresolved email not working on Dynamics CRM 2016 Update 1 and SP1

When you getting an email from unresolved email it will be in red color, by double click on it you will get an option to create a new record ( Account, Contact ....) or resolve it as an existent one. but in Dynamics CRM 2016 Update 1 and SP1 you will get "LOOKUP CONTROL ERROR: cannot add item of typename =to the lookup control"

any suggestions ?

    Dear Abed,

    I've been running a support ticket on this issue since september 2016 (ticket # 116092991781541), but no clear conslusions yet.

    Did you manage to get any response or solution on this issue, since it now has been a problem for a long time for many of my Dynamics CRM customers??

    Unfortunately this issue was not solved on Dynamics 365 Online and OnPrem, below is the new link for voting : https://crmideas.dynamics.com/ideas/dynamics-crm/2874345

    Amazed this issue has still not been fixed. We also have a ticket open for months on this issue. No sign of a solution in sight!

    We notice same behavior after changing forms in an OnPrem environment from Legacy to turbo. While in Turbo form mode the Resolve email is no longer red and is throwing Lookup Control error. Switching back to Legacy fixes issue for now.
